The Parenting Struggle Bus 🚌
I’m just over here living the #momlife and winging it one day at a time. 💁🏻
If you’re like me, some days you prep everything the night before and have a solid game plan for the next day. Other days you hit snooze 3 times, wake up late, pour coffee into your child’s chocolate milk cup 🤦🏻♀️, shove a poptart in your kid’s hand and shove them out to the bus. If you’ve got it all together and your ducks are always in a row 🦆🦆🦆, kuddos to you!! 🙌 I hope you share your secret.
If you’re the mom that is constantly struggling to even find all of your ducks 🦆 let alone have them in a row 🤦🏻♀️ and you’re running purely on dry shampoo, unintentionally cold coffee and yoga pants (for the yoga classes you don’t go to), you GOT THIS! 😘
If your parenting style is somewhere in between the first two and some days your ducks are all lined up 🦆🦆 and other days you aren’t even sure if you have ducks 🤷🏻♀️, you’re my kind of person. 😂
No one said parenting is easy or glamorous, but it definitely is rewarding (and tiresome)!! No one is perfect. No one has it all together all of the time, so give yourself grace. The parenting struggle bus 🚌 is real and we all ride it from time to time. If you’re on it right now, I promise your stop is coming up soon. If you’re not a passenger right now, be grateful and make sure you stop and give a wave or thumbs-up to the ones who are on it.
Life’s more fun when we all admit that we struggle and we find ways to lift other parents up 🤝 instead of judging them and pointing out when they trip down the bus steps and face plant on the pavement. We rise by lifting others and when our kids see us doing it, hopefully they’ll do it with others too! ❤️
