Welcome to a glimpse at my life as a work-from-home mom. Two rambunctious boys and one sweet little girl call me mom, and I’m wife to my high school sweetheart whom I’m crazy about. I love a good laugh and hopefully I can share some with you. I left my corporate career when my oldest was born and quickly realized that even though I loved being home with him, I needed an outlet to be me. I love to bake and one day I got the idea that I was going to start a cake business. The only problem was that I’d never done more than used a boxed cake mix and a container of store-bought icing. However, I like a good challenge, so I set out to learn. Almost a decade later and after adding a second child to our family, I realized it was time for a new adventure. For the next five years I built a strong business as a double diamond leader with a natural, plant-based health and wellness company. Then when our daughter was born, I knew I needed to focus on my family and be more present with my kids. It was a hard decision to walk away from such an amazing business, but I don’t regret it one bit. I’m a country girl with roots in the North and a heart for southern vibes. I run on The Word, coffee and chaos while I try each day to navigate the roadmap of my life and soul search for my purpose in this world. I am happiest when I am creating and writing. I love color (teal is my jam), all things chocolate, flowers, laughter, sarcasm, Mustangs (the ones with motors), vintage everything, design and exploring the outdoors with my gang. I’m a sucker for sunsets, wildflower bouquets from my boys (dandelions included), back road drives, ice cream and puppy kisses. I have an OCD personality, but I’m learning I can’t control everything. I’m thankful for a God who IS in control of my life and He’s helping me to simplify, embrace life, love deeper, and depend more on Him.
